Informed by Massachusetts constituents and the National Sea Grant College Program, our four focus areas are consistent with the goals and objectives identified in NOAA’s Next Generation Strategic Plan, which focuses on climate adaptation and mitigation, weather-ready nation, healthy oceans, and resilient coastal communities and economies.
FUNDED RESEARCH FOCUS
Through our FY2020 RFP, we will focus our funding resources on the following three specific areas of marine research:
- Offshore aquaculture
- Ocean acidification monitoring
- Underwater wireless power transmission and data communication
